Situated in Sawai Madopur district of Rajasthan, Ranthambore is famous for its Royal Bengal tigers. This national park is in a charming setting with forts dating back to the 10th century and consists of grasslands, lakes and deciduous forest. Spread across an area of 400 sq km (approximately), Ranthambore’s fauna includes Tiger, Leopard, Striped Hyena, Jackal, Sambar deer , Blue Bull, wild Boar, Marsh Crocodile to name a few. The flora is mainly dry deciduous due to its proximity to the desert vegetation. Ranthambore safaris are fantastic for sightings due to its vast open areas, hence a paradise for wildlife enthusiasts.

Tour itinerary - 5 days 4 nights

Day 1 – Arrive and acclimatize ( 04th May )

• Assemble by 10 am at Jaipur airport and proceed towards Ranthambore National Park to reach the resort for lunch.
• Check in to the resort, followed by briefing and introduction session by tour leaders to get to know more about the park and also the plan of action for the next 4 days.
• Start off our evening Safari with hopes of sighting the stripes of the royals.
• Post safari, we relax and discuss about the safari along with a hot cup of coffee/tea.
• Interactive session about basics of photography.
• Dinner and interaction continues.

Day 2 to 4 – Action packed safaris ( 05th to 07th May )

• Wake up early to start the day with the hope of sighting the Big Cats.
• Start off the day with spectacular morning safari.
• Return from the safari, have breakfast and refresh. There will be leisure time between safaris and as the weather will be hot, you can relax and review your images within the property.
• We get ready to swing into action for the evening safari after lunch. Evening safaris will give you great opportunities to try out of the box or creative shots and also silhouettes in the golden light.
• Post safari, we relax and discuss about the safari along with a hot cup of coffee/tea.
• Everyday we will have one session on tips and techniques of wildlife photography and nature/wildlife conservation.
• Dinner and interaction continues.

Day 5 – Bid Adieu to the ROYAL Bengal Tigers ( 8th May )

• Last and final safari of our wildlife tour and we make the best of it.
• Breakfast followed by wrap up session.
• Get set to leave Ranthambhore with loads of memories and images.
• Reach Jaipur and depart to respective cities.

Tour Cost: INR 45000/- per person + GST (If booked before 31st January 2018)

Note: These are the rates for Indian Nationals and tour rate for foreign nationals will be provided on request.

Cost Includes

• Transportation from Jaipur to Sawai Madhopur and back to Jaipur.
• 4 nights accommodation at resort at Ranthambhore on twin sharing basis.
• All meals as mentioned in the itinerary.
• 8 safaris at Ranthambhore National Park with 4 guests in the Gypsy.
• All permits, forest entry fees and mandatory guide fees.

Cost Does Not Include

• Travel cost till Jaipur.
• Additional camera fees if any (Fee to be paid before starting the safari).
• Tip for the drivers, guides or other staff at the accommodation.
• Additional food not mentioned in the itinerary
• Any personal expenses incurred on the tour.
• Insurance, laundry and phone calls
• Bottled water and soft drinks
• Any additions not mentioned in the inclusions list.

Payment Terms and Conditions

• 100% payment to confirm participation of the tour
• Rs. 20,000 is non refundable once the forest permits are booked
• 50% of remaining fees (excluding GST) will be refunded if cancelled on or before 60 days from tour date
• No refund if cancelled within 60 days of the tour date
• Date of the written communication (email) for cancellation is considered to calculate the cancellation fee


1. Last date for booking the tour is 1st February
2. Smoking and consumption of alcohol is not encouraged during the tour.
3. Though we always strive to provide our participants the best possible facilities at all times, there could be some challenges because of the geographical location and momentary situations. As the sole intention of the tour is for wildlife photography and experiencing nature we believe this should not be a constraint.
4. If arriving to Jaipur on Day 1, you will have to reach the airport before 10 am. On Day 5 we will arrive at Jaipur in the evening, hence you will have to book your departure post 5 pm.
5. As a result of any unforeseen condition, such as delay/cancellation of flight, natural calamity, political unrest etc Off The Radar would not be responsible for additional charges or the cancellation of the tour
6. Assistance for travel booking can be arranged on prior notice.
7. Assistance for hiring camera equipment and personal gear can be arranged based on availability.
